DFF by Night is in collaboration with retailers & restaurants across the city with bars playing host to pop-up catwalk shows with Fashion Parade. Below is what took place during DFF2012. Expect every more style and funky beats this coming September!
DFF Fashion Parades
DFF by Night will extend the fashion shows into the evening with fashion parades in many of the city centre bars, from 6pm-9pm Thursday 6th & Saturday 8th. Expect dramatic entrances, chic style and funky beats!
Thursday night: The Church, The Grand Social , Cafe en Seine and the Bar with no Name.
Saturday night: Harry’s on the Green, Mercantile, Mint Bar and Lost Society, 37 Dawson Street.
Creative Quarter Fashion Show
On Friday 7th September, on the steps of Powerscourt Townhouse, the stunning Amanda Byran will host this special catwalk show which will celebrate the independent designers in the newly branded Creative Quarter area of the city. This spectacular show begins at 8pm.

Atelier 27 & Om Diva
Om Diva and Atelier 27 will be hosting an in-store event on Friday, 7th September, as part of the Dublin Festival of Fashion, showcasing the stunning collections of 4 of Ireland’s most talented up and coming Young Designers.
Sinead Dunleavy (Winner of DCU YD 2012), Roisin Murphy (Runner Up 2012), Edel Traynor (Runner Up 2012) and Suzanne Ferncombe (Runner Up 2011) will all be showcasing their collections at this exclusive event.
Chilled champagne cocktails will be served from 6.30 followed by an opportunity to view collections and meet the designers. There will also be the opportunity to purchase one off pieces on the evening as well as discounts throughout the store.

Karen Millen
On Thursday 6th September, Celebrity stylist Angela Scanlon will be in Karen Millen on Grafton Street from 6pm – 9pm for the opening night of Dublin Fashion Festival. Angela will be hosting Style Sessions in store at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm, presenting the key season trends through style master classes, showcasing several must-have looks from Karen Millen’s Autumn Winter Collection. In between demonstrations, clients can enjoy one-on-one style consultations and avail of personal style advice from Angela, after browsing the new collection in store. Jacob’s Creek will provide refreshments across the evening and the first 50 clients to purchase will be treated to a fabulous Karen Millen goodie bag. Clients can also enjoy taking a chance with the lucky dip to avail of amazing discounts and prizes in store on the night.

Fashion & Knitwear designer Honor Fitzsimons is launching her debut collection “MONSTER KNIT” on the opening night of the 2012 Dublin Fashion Festival at Project 51 on Thursday September 6th.

There’s lots going on in The Church throughout DFF! Thursday 6th you can enjoy a main course and glass of wine for €15 from the bar-food menu. On Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th there will be free mini makeovers throughout the day along with their Best Dressed Competition, for her and him, running from 2pm-6pm (casual wear) and 7pm-1am (evening wear).
